Abstract: Introduction: In Ayurveda and ancient Indian sciences, the concept of Pram??a (measurement) plays a vital role in understanding the human body, diagnosing diseases, and determining appropriate treatment. Among the various measurements described, P?da Pram??a (measurement of the foot) holds great importance. The human foot is not only a structural foundation for standing and locomotion but also a mirror of health, longevity, and physical strength. Aim: The study aims to evaluate the relationship between paada Pramana (i.e., Foot Arch Index) and Different Prakriti (i.e., Vata, Pitta, Kapha). Methodology: An observational comparative study was conducted with 61 participants. Informed consent was obtained from the participants, and the Prakriti questionnaire was administered to assess their Prakriti. Footprint is obtained by applying ink on the foot of the participant on a graph paper, and then the foot arch index is calculated through the corresponding formula. Results: The data obtained from the study participants were analysed to assess the relationship between prakriti and the foot arch index (FAI). Responses to the Prakriti questionnaire were calculated as percentages to determine the person's respective Prakriti. Descriptive and Inferential statistics were used to summarise the relationship between prakriti and FAI among the participants. Conclusion: The study does not support a statistically significant relationship between Foot Arch Index and Prakriti, age, or gender, suggesting that foot arch structure is influenced by multifactorial determinants rather than solely by constitutional or demographic variables.
