Abstract: Background: Oral hygiene is a cornerstone of systemic health, and inadequate maintenance can lead to conditions such as plaque buildup, gingivitis, halitosis, and dental sensitivity. Akayu Dantvam is herbal toothpaste formulated to provide comprehensive oral care through antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory action. Objective: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of Akayu Dantvam in improving dental sensitivity, plaque, gingival health, and halitosis under real-world conditions. Materials and Methods: An open-label, single-arm, single-centre clinical trial was conducted with 60 participants aged 13–70 years. Participants were instructed to use Akayu Dantvam twice daily for 30 days. Assessments were collected at baseline, Day 14, and Day 30. Primary endpoints included changes in dental sensitivity (VAS), plaque index, gingival bleeding index, and halitosis score. Secondary outcomes included gum swelling, tooth loosening, incidence of cavities, toothache severity, and tooth discolouration. Safety was monitored through clinical oral examination assessments and adverse event reporting. Results: All participants completed the study.
