Abstract: Anaemia is a widespread health condition marked by reduced haemoglobin or red blood cell mass, leading to impaired oxygen delivery, fatigue, and reduced quality of life. Conventional treatments such as iron and vitamin supplementation are often limited by poor absorption, gastrointestinal intolerance, and poor adherence. Ayurveda recognises Pandu Roga, comparable to anaemia, as arising from Rasa Dhatu Kshaya, impaired Agni, and vitiated Pitta dosha. HB Vista Ayurvedic Capsule is a proprietary polyherbal-mineral formulation containing Emblica officinalis (Amla), Phyllanthus niruri (Bhumi Amla), Kasis Bhasma, Mandur Bhasma, Pearl Paste, Abhrak Bhasma, and Makshik Bhasma, stabilised with sodium benzoate. These ingredients are traditionally used to enhance iron absorption, stimulate red blood cell production, and improve vitality. A post-marketing, open-label, single-arm, single-centre clinical study was conducted in 60 anaemic patients aged 18–65 years. Participants received HB Vista capsules for 60 days, with dosing adjusted by severity. The primary outcome was change in haemoglobin; secondary outcomes included quality of life (QoL) and safety. All participants completed the study. Mean haemoglobin increased significantly from 6.09 g/dL at baseline to 13.05 g/dL at Day 60 (p < 0.0001), restoring most patients to non-anaemic ranges. QoL scores demonstrated substantial improvements in physical health, energy, emotional well-being, social functioning, and productivity. No adverse events or serious adverse events were reported, and vital signs remained stable. These findings indicate that HB Vista Ayurvedic Capsule is a safe, well-tolerated, and effective intervention for anaemia, offering both haematological correction and holistic improvements in quality of life.
