<title>Abstract</title>
Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin condition that is immune-mediated, long-lasting, and persistent that alters the life cycle of skin cells. Several factors influence the onset of disease and/or progression. Genetic, epigenetic, immunological, and environmental factors all play a complex role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis. Many herbs have been shown to be effective in treating psoriasis in Ayurveda; however, due to the disease__singlequotosings complex etiology, a multimodal approach to treatment is necessary. This study reports a 40-year-old male patient with scalp psoriasis who presented with erythema, plaques, and itching on the scalp and both hands. The treatment protocol was adopted by Shodhana and Shamana Chikitsa to counteract the pathophysiology. The patient had significant results with this treatment. The importance of diet regimens is also reaccredited. Photographic documentation was taken with the patient__singlequotosings consent during subsequent treatments and routine follow-ups. A chronic case of psoriasis was treated with multimodal Ayurvedic medicine, resulting in a rapid and significant recovery.
