<abstract><title>Abstract</title>
Ayurveda is an ancient holistic approach of healing system which is originated from India and is gaining attention as an alternative and complimentary medicine in intervention of womenâs health issues. The primary goal of Ayurveda is to encourage a healthy lifestyle, disease prevention, and diagnosis-based therapies. Significant physiological, anatomical and psychological changes occur in women during their reproductive years including menarche, pregnancy, post pregnancy, menopause and post-menopausal period. The primary objective is to lay foundation of overall well-being of womenâs health by highlighting the methodology and principles of Ayurveda. As Ayurveda aspires for both preventive and therapeutic therapies, this study discusses both views following the literature background. This study outlines safe, economic and effectively practical methods for maintaining womenâs health in respective stages of life including paricharyas (regimen), yoga, with doâs and donâts for aahara (diet). Also, current review study describes concise description of some important drugs along with Panchakarmas including purva karma (pre-procedure), pashchat karma (post-procedure) and parihar kala (convalescence period) in the management of menstrual irregularities, PCOD, infertility along with reproductive health. Moreover, the purpose of the study is to provide meaningful and appreciable insights for womenâs reproductive health and considering Ayurvedic approach, paricharyas (regimen), yoga and rejuvenation methods such as Panchakarmas and Ayurvedic drugs such as Bala (Sida cordifolia), Atibala (Abutilon indicum), Shatpushpa (Anethum sowa) can help women maintain their health and adapt to the numerous changes and pathologies that they face in today__ampersandsign#39;s environment. This review attempts to serve as valuable resource for health care scholars, researchers, and people looking for all-natural, holistic solutions for managing female reproductive health.
