<abstract><title>Abstract</title>
Background: The global market for herbal, herbomineral, and traditional medicines has expanded significantly in recent decades. Despite this growth, the absence of comprehensive data on the stability and shelf life of traditional formulations remains a key barrier to their broader acceptance and utilisation. In this context, the present study was designed to evaluate the stability of Kaishora Guggulu by examining its susceptibility to microbial contamination across different storage conditions, including variations in climate and temperature. Aim: To study the stability of Kaishora Guggulu and inspect microbial contamination in the finished product at different time intervals and at different climatic conditions (different temperature and humidity setups). Materials and Methods: Samples of Kaishora Guggulu were examined to assess microbial contamination under different climatic conditions. The study was conducted at the Microbiology Laboratory, Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA), Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. Observations __ampersandsign Results: The initial microbiological study of Kaishora Guggulu was carried out on the second day if its preparation. Further studies were conducted at regular intervals for up to 10 months. Conclusion: In a microbiological study of Kaishora Guggulu, no growth of microorganisms, bacterial or fungal, was observed up to 10 months from the date of preparation, indicating satisfactory microbiological stability and an acceptable shelf life.
