Abstract: Purpose: As research is the scientific and diligent study, the herbal preparation of Bilwa-Lajadi syrup was taken for clinical experimentation in order to establish facts and analyze its significance in Garbhini Chardi. Aims and Objective: The present work was carried out to standardize the finished product of Bilwa-Lajadi syrup. Methodology: The ingredients of Bilwa-Lajadi syrup are Bilwa phalamajja, Laja, Usheera and Hrivera. Due to increasing demand for the phyto-pharmaceutical products of Ayurveda, a new pharmaceutical preparation in the form of Bilwa-Lajadi syrup was tried to establish in the management of Garbhini Chardi. Drug was analyzed for the following parameters like physico-chemical (pH, refractive index, viscosity, specific gravity, total solids, total sugar, reducing and non reducing sugar) and High performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC). Discussion: On the basis of observations and experimental results, the study may be used as standard protocol in the further quality control researches on Bilwa-Lajadi syrup.
