Abstract: The integration of evidence-based complementary medicines seems to present an effective response to cancer patients. Siddha system of Medicine is a time - honored and one among the other Indian traditional System of Medicine, like Ayurveda and Unani. Siddhars – the immense scientists represented the reality of nature all the way through their spiritual knowledge, detailed experience and dedicated observation thrown light on the disease of new growths/lumps. The rationale of this article is to identify cancer drugs, both internal and external in Siddha literatures as a potential complementary medicine and suggesting it to the integrated approach for the management of cancer. Furthermore, it is written with an intention to raise awareness and promote Siddha medicine for treating cancer.
