Abstract: Hridroga is the most critical ailment described in Ayurveda. Vataja (cardiovascular disorder) is a form of Hridroga that can be distinguished by pathological symptoms described in Ayurveda. It manifests as ruja in urah pradesha (chest discomfort) and other signs and symptoms such as alpanidrata, shvasavrodha, darah, hrutdrava, stambha, stabadha, akasmat deenata, shoka, bhaya, shabdasehsnuta, shunyata, vepathu, and vestana. Ayurveda has a deficit in assessing disease symptoms using standard parameters. In order to diagnose a disease, it is necessary to do an assessment.
