Abstract: Introduction: In Ayurveda, all skin diseases are kept under "Kustha Roga". Kitibha Kustha is one of the Kshudra Kushtha, where the skin becomes blackish, discolourated, thickens, dry, and itching. It has the predominant vitiated Vata and Kapha dosha. Objectives: The role of the Ayurvedic treatment in Kitibha. Methodology: This is a case report of a 57-year-old patient with symptoms of Kitibha Kushtha. Signs and symptoms were severe itchings, skin peelings, blackish discolouration of the skin, and dryness observed in the patient, which made it essential to draw public attention to this case. The symptoms of this patient were very similar to those of Eczema. This patient was diagnosed as Kitibha Kushtha and was successfully treated with Ayurvedic medicines like Rasamanikya, Nimbadi churna, Manjishtadi kwatha and external application of Psoria oil and Dhoutha ghrita (ghee washed with water). The assessment criteria for EASI score were noted before and after treatment. Result: The patient had complete relief from symptoms like skin discolouration, dryness, and itching in 45 days. EASI score data also had been got significant changes from 28.8 to 0. Conclusion: In Kitibha Kustha, we can treat successfully by administering snehana, shamana aushadi, nithya virechana, and by applying external medications.
