Abstract: Ayurveda, a traditional medicine system that dates back thousands of years, uses a holistic approach to prevent and treat diseases. Dinacharya, Ritucharya, Sadvritta, and Nithya Sevaniya Ahara are a few of the distinct actions that the ancient Acharyas specified for disease prevention in general. Daily regimens are called Dinacharya; for example, daily Abhyanga (Oil application) will perform Twak Prasadan and treat ailments brought on by dry skin, while seasonal regimens are called Ritucharya, which one has to follow for a healthy life as per Ayurveda. It should be noted that Roga (Disease) results from an imbalance of the three Doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Changes in nutrition and lifestyle also result in changes in the condition of Tridosha, which will inevitably have an impact on us and result in lifestyle diseases. Today's society is grappling with a serious issue: lifestyle disorders. Such illnesses are primarily caused by factors related to lifestyles, such as poor eating habits, inactivity, and a lack of knowledge about the features of disease prevention. As Ayurveda aims to maintain good health in a healthy person, it can play a major role in disease prevention.
