Abstract: The Siddha system rejuvenates the human body and mind through various internal medicine and external therapies. Pakkavatham described by Yugi Munivar as comparable to hemiplegia . Stroke is a major cause of death and disability, often leading to hemiplegia and reduced quality of life. Siddha medicine, through its therapies and treatments, helps patients recover better, reduce disabilities, and improve their quality of life after a stroke. Objective: To assess the Quality of Life among patients receiving Siddha treatment for hemiplegic stroke by using Stroke Impact Scale Version 3.0. Materials And Methods: This study was an observational study and was done in the Inpatient Department of Ayothidoss Pandithar Hospital, National Institute of Siddha, Chennai – 600 047 using Stroke Impact Scale Version 3.0 questionnaire.
