Abstract: Ayurveda emphasizes the unique constitutional makeup (Prakriti) of each individual, which influences physiological and psychological characteristics. Pitta Prakriti, characterized by sharpness and fluidity, may contribute to enhanced musculoskeletal flexibility. This conceptual review investigates the possible relationship between Pitta Prakriti and Cervical Range of Motion (CROM), incorporating insights from both Ayurvedic principles and modern anatomical science. The article highlights the physiological qualities of Pitta dosha that may lead to greater joint mobility and compares Ayurvedic descriptions of Greeva (Cervical Region) with contemporary understandings of the cervical spine. Findings suggest that Pitta-dominant individuals may exhibit increased cervical flexibility. These insights have potential applications in personalized therapy, rehabilitation, and preventive healthcare strategies.
